The Cayman's winningest driver joins Kellymoss, the winningest team in Porsche racing history, for the car's final Pirelli GT4 America weekend at Indianapolis, Oct. 8–11 2026.

Eric Filgueiras Winniest Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport Race car driver

Eric Filgueiras, who has won more races in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport than any other driver since the car began racing in North America in 2022, will close out the car's era with Kellymoss, the winningest team in Porsche racing history. He joins Erika Hoffmann, a Canadian driver in the Porsche Mobil 1 female driver program, in the No. 73 Kellymoss Porsche for the Pirelli GT4 America finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oct. 8–11, the pair's first race together.

Indianapolis is the Cayman's final North American race weekend before Porsche's new 911 GT4 R replaces it in 2027. Filgueiras arrives with 17 class victories across Pirelli GT4 America and the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, three clear of longtime co-driver Stevan McAleer, plus two Pirelli GT4 America Silver Cup titles.

The pairing puts the platform's most successful driver with the most successful team in Porsche racing. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Kellymoss has raced Porsches for more than three decades and runs roughly 30 full-season entries across North American series. Filgueiras moves over from the team's No. 52 Pro-Am entry. Hoffmann has driven the No. 73 for Kellymoss throughout the 2026 Pirelli GT4 America season.

"I'm very excited to be racing alongside Eric in the No. 73 car for the final round of the SRO GT4 America season," said Hoffmann. "Eric brings a tremendous amount of success in the Cayman, and it feels poetic to have him back behind the wheel for the car's final North American race."

"It's hard to imagine my career without the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport," said Filgueiras. "This car gave me the chance to show what I can do and make a name for myself. I'm grateful for everything it has given me, from racing with so many different teams and teammates to coaching other drivers in series like Porsche Sprint Challenge. I'm honored to be part of this car's history."

The foundation of that record came in 2022. Sharing the No. 18 RS1 Porsche with McAleer, Filgueiras won 11 of 14 Pirelli GT4 America Silver class races, a 79 percent win rate, and claimed the Silver Cup title with 305 points. That same year, the pair won the season-opening BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Filgueiras added five more Silver class wins in 2024, this time alongside John Capestro-Dubets in the No. 28 RS1 Porsche. The duo swept both races at Sebring and VIR, won again at Road America, and took the 2024 Silver Cup championship with 250 points.

Indianapolis is familiar ground. Filgueiras and McAleer swept both Silver class races there in 2022 to close out their title season.

Porsche unveiled the 911 GT4 R in June as the Cayman's successor. Based on the 992.2 911 Cup car, it is set to debut at the Michelin Pilot Challenge opener at Daytona in January and will be eligible in Pirelli GT4 America. That makes Indianapolis Filgueiras' last scheduled chance to add to his Cayman record.

"Eric's record in the Cayman speaks for itself, and we're excited to have him alongside Erika for the final race weekend of this car's era," said Andy Kilcoyne, Kellymoss. "He brings tremendous experience with the platform, but just as importantly, he understands what it takes to compete and win at this level. Indianapolis is an important weekend for Erika and our program, and I think Eric is a great fit to help us finish the season strong while giving the Cayman the sendoff it deserves."
