Eric Filgueiras, a first-generation American from Cocoa, Florida, discovered his passion for racing at an early age when his father took him to watch IndyCar at Homestead-Miami Speedway. From that moment, Eric was captivated by the sport.
He began his career in karting, where he quickly established himself as a formidable talent. During his karting years, Eric secured Regional, National, and Grand National victories and championships, representing the United States in two World Finals events.
Eric has showcases his versatility by competing across various racing disciplines, including Open Wheel, Prototype, NASCAR, and Sportscar racing. Currently focused on Sportscar racing, he continues to build an impressive career. Among his notable achievements are the 2016 USF2000 National Class Championship, 2022 SRO Pirelli GT4 America Championship, 2023 SRO Fanatec GT World Challenge America Pro Championship, and 2024 SRO GT4 America Silver Championship.
Outside of competition, Eric shares his expertise by coaching race car drivers across North America, helping others pursue their passion for motorsport.
